Supporting service readiness to collect and use client feedback from children, young people and families
The purpose of this project is to strengthen services' capability to collect and use service experience feedback from children, young people and families.
Phase One
Gather and synthesise information regarding the value, key principles and practice approaches to collecting and using client feedback, through:
- A literature review on best practice and principles for collecting and using feedback from young people* (completed)
- Consultation with young people with lived experience via the Youth Reference Group (completed)
Deliverable: an initial paper for the Alliance membership.
Phase Two
Building on Phase One, consider the implications for the use of specific tools and measures within services:
- A scoping review of existing experience measurement tools for children and young people* (completed)
- Development of recommendations for the Alliance membership (in progress)

- Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) for parents and carers
