About
Forums are the central mechanism by which the whole Alliance membership convenes. These all-day events occur two to three times every year and include consultations, topic 'deep dives', Alliance project updates, strategic prioritising and networking.
Alliance Forums aim to provide opportunities for Alliance members to collectively undertake strategic discussions, planning, prioritising and decision-making, and to develop shared understanding and goals as an Alliance. The Framing Statement was collectively developed to guide participation in all Alliance activities, but particularly Forums, which involve a large group of diverse sector stakeholders.
Propose a topic
Members are invited to propose topics for discussion at the Forums that promote opportunities for members to engage in strategic discussion, consultation and/or shared decision-making on issues related to child and youth mental health. This may include nominating or leading session topics in areas of interest, or relating to specific projects or initiatives.
Eligibility
All Alliance members are eligible to participate in Forums; however, programs will be asked to nominate one delegate to attend, to allow for a range of cross-sector services to participate. Exceptions to this may be raised with the lead partners prior to Forums.
If you would like to attend a Forum, visit the Membership page for further details on how to become an Alliance member.
